Ange & Ray // Mareeba Engagement Session

This week Ange and Ray invited me up to their Mareeba home where they live next to Ange’s parents’ and her uncle’s farm. In just 30 minutes we managed to visit four different locations around their property and capture some pretty sweet photos for their wedding invitation and guest book.

Ray and Ange were nervous about having their professional photos taken for the first time. They’re both down to earth and laid back and the idea of being on camera was daunting, but I am so glad they chose to have a practice run before their wedding day, because it really paid off!

An engagement session is a really good way to get to know your photographer’s process before the big day, and to practice being comfortable on camera. The trust between you and your photographer is also established before the wedding day, leaving you free to enjoy the day without worrying how you look or how your wedding photos will turn out.
