Lonely girl in Shinjuku, Tokyo
Some things are on my mind and I can’t sleep. So mindlessly I started working on an image of a girl standing at a busy intersection in Shinjuku on a Wednesday night. I’m not sure who she was working for or what she was advertising, but she was bowing to the endless flux of pedestrians. She kept bending over, between bows, to rub her ankle. Nobody noticed her really. She looked so tired, and a bit lonely.
For some reason, this image speaks to me tonight.
