This photo story is as much about Alex as it is about her big brother George.

Having a home session with a newborn and toddler can be hectic and unpredictable, as can be seen in the candid frames below. But looking back, these were the crucial moments that I know the family will look back with love and nostalgia. Adapting to having a younger sibling and suddenly having to grow into your role as the eldest can be a very emotional time for a two-year-old, but George’s parents couldn’t be more supportive.

Thank you to one of my favourite families, who have invited me to document their story not once, twice but three times for each major life milestone. x
