Kat & Matt // Atherton Tablelands Elopement

Kat and Matt’s Atherton Tablelands elopement at Mt Quincan Crater Retreat was a little secret and Threadless Films and I had the pleasure of recording it all to be revealed later.

The night before they got married, Matt surprised Kat by flying her brother and his partner in to be their witnesses!

The whole afternoon had this quiet and intimate vibe, the four of them taking every moment in.

We drove to Tinnaburra for sunset photos and were surrounded by hundreds of starlings, maybe more, their sweet sound coupled with the most incredible sunset made the afternoon surreal and so beautiful — I was speechless.

It’s days like this and people like Kat and Matt that make my work so, so enjoyable and worthwhile.
